Winter Gala in NYC

January 17,2009

Having the Winter Gala at the American Museum of Natural History in Manahattan was a huge success this year. We had so much fun. We made another great memory in NYC.

Craig and Jim...having fun.

Back to the room by 4:00am! WOW....what a great night. And the view from our room on the 44th floor of the Marriott Marquis in Times Square was pretty incredible. Maybe we can reserve that room for New Years Eve of 2010!!! Anybody in???

End of the night drawing near...

Glenn and Laura...these guys are so cool. They are our tailgate friends at the NYJets game...Laura helped plan the party too! Good job Laura!

The last spot of the night...4:00am and still looking mighty fine! Jill and her man Michael!

Okay...not the best picture but what can I say. It was after the after party & we were walking across Times Square and low and behold there was a newly married couple taking pictures. So Glenn and Jill and I thought it would be fun to go get a picture of them with our friend Pat who we drug all over NYC with us (in picture form only) cause he couldn't be at the party! We had so much fun talking with the new bride and groom and the bride gave Glenn one of her party favors from the reception! Pretty cool! I wish you could see this in the picture; she had the most incredible eyes...very pretty bride! Fun times in Time Square!

The Newlyweds...Sharon & Jim. Nice job planning this big bash Sharon!

Maggie & Jim at the after party...we all went to Campbell's Apartment which was a great place. The decor was so beautiful. We teased Jim that he was the Bond...James Bond of the evening.
Lisa and Ralph...goofing around! Ralph...I'm going to get you to dance yet!

Schaefer & Amy danced up a storm!

Lori and Ellen....Ellen is my "new" New York friend. She has given me great advise on everything from Broadway Shows to shopping and more...She knows the City like no one else. Thanks Ellen! I can't wait to go shopping in the City with you. Or....Jersey Boys here we come! Let's plan our date to see this show~

Bryce and Anna looked stunning

I decided to get my hair done for the big event...kind of fun.

Joey's & Amanda's Wedding

January 3, 2009
All dressed up and some place to go!!! Here we are at yet another child's wedding! This was such a fun wedding...congrats to Sandy and Howard and of course, to Joey and Amanda on their beautiful marriage. You make a stunning young couple and we pray God's richest blessings on you as you begin your lives together as husband and wife.

Tara and I had fun especially later in the evening when we went home & couldn't get up the driveway in my little TL. So...we parked in the streets. Well, then we needed to get up the driveway ourselves! Tara impressed Ryan and I as she just walked right up ... no problem. Ryan and I were down at the bottom of the driveway slipping & sliding with absolutely no traction at all and laughing so hard because here Tara is already in the garage! I tried to crawl....bad idea! Hope none of the neighbors were watching cause we finally just tromped through the snow, me in my high heels and dress clothes and Ryan all dressed up as well. I guess Tara's high heels had better traction them mine! :>) Made for a memorable end of the evening!

Some old friends...the Crees were at the wedding. It was so nice to catch up with them. Here is Jean and me at dinner.

Susie and Me! :>) We were at the dining table together and needless to say...had a great time!

Chrissy & Me :>)

Tara met the crew :>) She fit right in & we all had some fun despite the ice storm going on outside the Monona Terrace! YIKES...more on that later!

Good friends!!! Good times.

Da Boys....Ryan, Scott & Joe :>) Lookin fine!

Look at those shoes Sandy had on....Sandy, you were beautiful and elegant!

Katie & Lori being silly....end of night! :>)

Wintery wonderland???

November, 2008

Well, we had snow! Everyone was happy to see this little dusting of snow...but there is still green grass showing! Can you really call this a snowfall? Well, schools and businesses had delayed openings so I guess they thought it was!

You sure have a different perspective of winter coming from Wisconsin! We think this is great!

New York City

What can I say....it was brilliantly beautiful!

New York City

Who said New Yorkers weren't friendly! Well....maybe this was a tourist too but we got our picture taken in front of the tree! :>)

New York City

Rockefeller Center was beautiful with the big lit up tree!

On our way to the City!

Well, the boys are gone and I needed to be cheered up so off we went to the City. Rockefeller Christmas tree, the skating rink, all the lights and sites of the City did just that...cheered me up! What an incredible place New York is.

Is it really Christmas???

December 25, 2008
We will never forget Christmas 2009 in Princeton NJ! It was so warm that we had to open the front door to let the cool air come in while we were opening presents! Needless to say, it was kind of nice! Not a white Christmas...but a good one! :>)

Jets Jets Jets

Even though the NY Jets lost, we made a family memory by all getting to go to the game. We tailgated with our new friends Laura and Glen. The boys saw tailgating at its best. They are masters at it.
Maybe next year....but will Bret be there?

On the move!

Ryan and Mark both got road bikes for Christmas. Here Josh is trying out Mark's. Maybe he needs one too!

Thursday, January 22, 2009

Needless to say Mom & Dad were both extremely happy to have the boys in NJ for Christmas this year. A new memory was made and we are truly blessed.

Santa still came even at ages 27 and 22! :>)

Here the boys are shaking on their presents to each other....Josh is painting Ryan's condo for him and Ryan is taking Josh to Vegas...sounds pretty cool! What great brothers.

Ryan got a really cool TUMI backpack type bag for all his commuting with his laptop. Now he has some other hands free on the train and in the airport! Go get some more clients Buddy!

Josh....sporting his new Jets hat and pair of Air Jordans! (Notice the door behind Josh is open...that is the front door to the condo and we were HOT! Can you believe that....hot opening presents on Christmas Day!)

Ryan is dressing up a lot more these days...so here is another cuff link shirt for his collection & tie.

Mom found Ryan's fave tennis shoes by special ordering those size 15's! He was smiling BIG!
